Youth MinistryConnecting Our Youth In Ministry
What we’re all about….
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
With direction from our elders and the leadership of our youth leaders, in partnership with our parents
The Vision of 316 is:
To establish and foster a gospel centered community of teen believers that are focused on glorifying God through,
- Treasuring Christ
- Loving one Another

Next Step is designed to serve 11 and 12 year olds, concluding their children’s ministry experience while setting a pace for their participation in the preaching ministry of Redeemer church.
Next Step meets twice a month (1st and 3rd) on Sunday mornings, serving your children by giving them opportunity to take part in the preaching section of our worship service one week, as well as the opportunity to “debrief” the following week.
Our class time will be structured around two goals. First, we want our children to grow in their ability to listen and interact with the preaching ministry of our church. To help them grow in this area, we will encourage them to take notes on the sermons they hear, which we will then discuss during our class time together the following week. Second, we want our children to grow in their understanding and relationship with God. To help them in this, we will spend time in prayer together and make use teaching resources.
This year’s helpful book is “The New City Catechism: 52 Questions and Answers for Our Hearts and Minds”. You can purchase a copy at our bookstore.
For any questions, or to get your child involved, please contact Alex Brodine.
During the sermon, your children are welcome to experience a safe, fun environment with a gospel emphasis during their classes. The following classes are available for your children:
Nursery (6-months – 16 months): a clean, safe, comfortable environment with cribs for short naps, gliders, and fun toys!
Toddler Room (16 months – age 2): toddlers will have fun with a variety of toys and play stations, bible stories, music, and more.
Classes (Ages 2-10): age-appropriate instruction with a team of dedicated teachers who create a safe, fun learning environment. Kids are introduced to the gospel and the Bible through a proven curriculum.
Please stop by the welcome desk before 10am or during the break to register your child for the appropriate class and to receive a security card.
